Giving Programs

ImpactLife is dedicated to continuous improvement in blood banking, displaying that commitment by examining best practices in applied research, innovative educational methods and outstanding clinical practice. By engaging in these pursuits, we provide important and significant contributions to the body of medical and scientific knowledge, as well as to the understanding and practice of transfusion medicine.

Financial contributions are used to support three primary areas to enhance our services:

Education
The need for blood is constant, as is the diligence that is required to teach future blood donors, young and mature alike, about the importance of blood donation. Through use of classroom teaching, instructional materials and displays, and other means, a positive message is conveyed that donated blood saves patient lives.

With a continued focus on patients, this education also extends to the medical community. Through partnerships and collaboration, we provide meaningful resources that improve the management, safety, and practice of transfusion medicine, ranging from delivery of blood products to care at the patient bedside.

Research
We are committed to conducting clinical research trials and pilot programs to enhance blood banking practices and all aspects of blood transfusion medicine. Sharing our blood expertise not only improves patient care, but demonstrates our commitment to the entire process – from donor to patient.

Technology
Utilization of emerging blood technology and services enables us to engage in the continuous improvement of blood collection and testing to enrich the quality of patient lives

Giving Opportunities

In-Kind Donations

Your business can partner with us by collaborating on special promotions and events, like Adopt a Day, for our blood donors. It's a win-win partnership for your organization, ImpactLife, the blood donor, and most importantly, the patient.

AmazonSmile

Did you know you can donate 0.5% of eligible purchases back to ImpactLife through AmazonSmile? Shopping through AmazonSmile is the same Amazon you know with the same products, prices and services, but with an added perk to support charitable organizations, all while shopping! For additional details, go to smile.amazon.com.

Birdies for Charity

We are proud to be a charity partner with the Birdies for Charity program. Funds raised through Birdies for Charity will be used to support our LifeSavings grants, a program under which ImpactLife provides funding to schools that host mobile blood drives. Donations can be made online at Birdies for Charity and search for ImpactLife (651), and enter the amount you wish to contribute. You will then receive a receipt upon completion. (Birdies campaign runs from April-July.)

Memorial Gifts

You can make a gift in memory of a family member or friend. Memorial gifts help finance the work of ImpactLife, and provide an ideal opportunity to permanently link a person's name with the traditions and spirit of ImpactLife.

Tributes

You can make a gift in honor of an individual, or in recognition of a special occasion as a way of saying what words alone cannot say. Tribute gifts help finance the work of ImpactLife, and provide an ideal opportunity to permanently link a person's name with the traditions and spirit of ImpactLife.
